Advantages of infrared drying
Lower energy consumption
Our infrared technology is energy-efficient because it does not generate contact heat.
We also use vibratory conveyors: whereas in other processes the moving surfaces cool down outside the heating zone, with our technology the heat remains constant throughout the process and is used optimally.
At the same time, special reflectors are used to redirect the radiation in a targeted manner so that as little energy as possible is lost.
Sustainable
Our drying systems are fully electric and therefore particularly environmentally friendly. As they do not produce any CO₂ emissions, they make a direct contribution to greater sustainability in production.
Fast preheating
Our systems are ready to go in just five minutes. This saves you time in your daily production routine and allows you to start processes flexibly and without long start-up phases.
Highest process accuracy
Our systems can be adjusted to almost one degree, enabling precise process control. In addition, individual segments can be operated at different temperatures to treat products individually and optimally.
How does infrared drying work?
Infrared emitters emit electromagnetic waves in the infrared range. This radiation hits the material and is absorbed by its surface
This causes the molecules to vibrate more strongly, generating heat.
This heat causes the water contained in the material to evaporate.
Which products are suitable?
Food
For example, croutons, nuts, seeds, vegetables, coffee beans, mushrooms, fruit pieces such as apple chips or banana slices, legumes, and much more.
Pet food
For example, dog food, cat food, treats, feed pellets, fish food, rodent food, and much more.
Mineral bulk materials
For example, mineral bulk materials, salts, sludge, sand, clay, and much more.
Hardly any limitations
Whether mineral or non-mineral, food or non-food – infrared drying knows virtually no limits.
